Me and My Arrow : ウィキペディア英語版 | Me and My Arrow
Me And My Arrow is a song written and recorded by American singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson released on his 1970 album The Point!. "Me And My Arrow" was made for Nilsson's animated cartoon, The Point!, as the theme for Oblio, the pointless boy, and his dog, Arrow. Although the song may be a reference to take a direction and suddenly not knowing where to go, it's in fact about the friendship between Oblio and the dog. It's also a parable for discrimination. The song was a success, becoming a Top 40 hit in 1970. The song was covered by American singer Diana Ross and American guitarist Adrian Belew in the 1995 tribute album For the Love of Harry: Everybody Sings Nilsson. It was also featured in The Simpsons's Season 24 episode To Cur with Love, as the theme for Homer Simpson and his dog, Bongo. == External links ==
